Since 2008, Preservation of Wilson has served as a resource for the redevelopment of Wilson County’s historic heritage.  

WHAS provides programs that relate to history and  the arts, ranging from musical performances to art shows to activities  for the greater Winterville community.

Since 1923, we have been celebrating

and promoting New Bern's rich heritage through events and education.

The museum houses an extensive collection of textiles, period clothing, furniture, military memorabilia, glassware and artwork.

Our mission is to encourage and promote public knowledge of, and interest in the history and culture of  Swansboro and Onslow County through education and preservation.

The restored home of former North Carolina Governor David Stone (1770-1818), located four miles west of Windsor, NC, 

The Country Doctor Museum is the oldest museum in the United States dedicated to the history of America’s rural health care. 

The association seeks to increase public awareness of the heritage of Wayne County and its environs via various informational platforms.

Preserving the history of Chapel Hill, Carrboro, and neighboring communities in Orange County for future generations.

Granville County Historical Society seeks to discover and collect material about the history of the area and preserve these items through the museum, administered by the society.

The May Museum and Park is dedicated to preserving and interpreting the history of the Town of Farmville and the surrounding areas of western Pitt County.
